Great app...thanks for developing. For those who miss the Sign In link, just go to [site]/_layouts/settings.
aspx and you will be authenticated. Only other issue I notice is that if you put this on a page where a large amount of content has to load (e.g. a picture library with 100 images), the page will flash up with the ribbon present momentarily before it disappears.

I agree, excellent solution. To workaround the welcome selector missed, in the master page i took the Div Tag with class "s4-trc-container-menu" and placed it to the TD tag where the social data is (class="s4-socialdata-not
if"). I think now its fabuluos.

I agree with sarathi81 regarding the missing logged in user and the ability to sign in as another user. Did not realize that being part of the ribbon. It is a great tool except for that one issue.,

Excellent solution almost fits my requirements, just that now the logged in user's Name has also disappeared . Any chance you can modify the code so that that remains on the ribbon. I can move it else where...but that may not look as neat... But other than that suggestion, this is a perfect solution... Well done...

I like this solution to the hide/show ribbon issue as it puts the control in the hands of the administrator and it is a feature that can be turned off and on quite easily. The features ability to add additional permission granularity is also very sweet! Now, I would have rate this solution EXCELLENT if the space used for the Ribbon on page was also collapsed.
